This turned out to be my first sit-down food stop on my first visit to Wales. It is a lovely little spot with a warm, welcoming vibe and genuinely friendly service. The food is hearty and home-cooked: you could tell - with the slightly less-than-perfect presentation but more than generous portions and great flavour. A real local gem, and well worth a stop if you’re in the area.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and service was very good food was excellent will be going back again.
First time I have visited here. I've heard good thing and decided to see for myself. It was quite quiet when we arrived and we thought we were going to be quickly served and off, but there was a table of 10 reserved for the other room and they were probably preparing their meals too. We were about 20 mins waiting for our food. When it came it was very tasty and the price was reasonable. Worth the wait.
Absolutely delicious cakes My mum and I had a fresh cream doughnut and blackcurrant cream puff. The cakes were so light and tasty. The cream was delicious. Will definitely be back for more. Always friendly and polite service.
Popped in on our road trip. Had too many chocolate cakes and hot chocolates. Lovely staff.
Great quality food home cooked, reasonably priced friendly staff all round good cafe..
Just had food here with my daughter. I had a regular English breakfast it was absolutely stunning. No fat or grease on the plate when I was finished. The beans and tomatoes came in little ramekins which I love. The toast was lovely and fresh and not rubbery like some places. Honestly the best breakfast I've had in a long while. My daughter had sausage, chips and beans. Omg.. LUSH they were proper fresh chips (I had to pinch a few) they were gorgeous. Very happy with our food, and very happy with the prices. Staff are wonderful, shared their chocolates with my daughter, then I asked for a bowl of whipped cream and chocolate sauce for her for dessert and they were happy to do that for her. I had a banoffee Sunday, and LOVED IT! Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!
Excellent breakfast on a quiet Sunday morning. Lovely friendly staff. Prices are so cheap I expected to pay at least a quarter more. Will definitely come again next time we are passing through. Thank you
